Masters’ thesis defense on configurational mechanics for soft fracture

Mr. Terrence Pereira has successfully defended his MSc thesis on the topic of soft fracture mechanics. His work presented a comprehensive experimental and computational study of the soft elastomer VHB Tape. The Configurational Force Method was employed to guide experiments on crack propagation under large deformations. The supervisors of the thesis were Dr. Miguel Angel Moreno-Mateos and Dr. Paras Kumar. Congratulations on this achievement!
